We are delighted you decided on APT to help with your educational needs! Getting started is easy. In order to schedule visits start here:

 

Complete the student intake form. 
To ensure we match your child with the “best-fit” tutor, the student intake form will be assessed, and a tutor will be assigned to your student. 

 

  • Create an account for your child
  • Use students name (not parent’s name when creating the account)
  • If multiple students needs services, create a unique account for each individual (and unique email address for each).

We cannot process "Family Accounts”.

  • At the end of the application, enter your credit card information to complete payment.
  • During this process, use your email address or that of a legal guardiean in order to receive notifications and announcements, and progress reports.

Once you have created an account, you can login from any page on our website.

All paperwork must be complete before we can schedule your child.

Any information you provide to APT will be kept confidential. The form should take less than five minutes to fill out, however, the more information you can provide, the better success we will have to pair your child with the right tutor.

Once a tutor is assigned, your tutor will send the parent and child an email with suggested session times via email. Once days and times are agreed upon and confirmed, the tutor will add your child to our calendar (you can find this information on the “my schedule” drop down. In addition, time and room reservations will be posted to a calendar.

It is necessary to pre-pay for sessions online (our tutors and front office staff will not be able to take cash); you can pay an individual session rate by the day (highest rate), a weekly rate (lower rate) or you can save money by purchasing a monthly package (lowest rate).

***If you do not have a pre-paid session on your account 24 hours before the scheduled session, you will automatically be charged the individual session rate.

Please indicate when you would like tutoring to end. We will schedule your child until that date. If you do not specify a date, we will schedule school subject students weekly until the middle of June.

If your child plans to stop tutoring, you MUST cancel the remaining scheduled sessions by logging into your account and canceling.

 

POLICIES

We need a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for all cancelled and rescheduled sessions. Sessions not cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session rate.

If you need to cancel sessions, log into your account. Go to “my schedule” and click “cancel” next to the session you wish to cancel. Make sure you receive an email confirming your cancellation. (if you cancel a session by mistake, please let us know and we’ll reschedule it). Tutors CANNOT cancel sessions for you. In addition, please email your tutor directly to let them know you wish to cancel your session.

If you need to reschedule a session, first cancel your existing session, and contact us via phone to reschedule a new time.

Tutoring is effective when students are consistent; therefore, we expect to meet with students on a weekly basis, but at least three weeks per month. If your child cannot commit to meeting regularly, we will do our best to schedule your child if we have availability.

 

HOLIDAYS, VACATIONS, CLOSINGS

Please be advised not all tutors will be working through the “school breaks” so please check with them individually.

We do not follow school vacation schedules and closings. We also do not have a companywide snow day policy. If a specific tutor needs to move a session to Zoom due to inclement weather, they will email you the link and instructions.
